Job Profile :
- Extracting
sales / Rx data from internal & external audit sources to: Track company
/ product performance vis a vis competition.
- Prepare
reports / presentations for the management on a regular basis
- Support
the product management team to analyse trends in market dynamics of
key MPGs, and provide data to support promotional strategies
- Collaborate
with sales & field effectiveness teams to measure FF productivity at
regional level
- Working
closely in co-ordination with external MR agencies to validate accuracy
of reported company data in secondary audits (ORG / IMS)
- Design
and conduct primary research to identify opportunities, threats and
tackle key issues for new / in-line products
- Preparing
quarterly field budgets with inputs from product management / sales
teams.
- Forecasting
sales for products / markets using sophisticated forecasting models,
based on internal / external data.
- Training
& developing subordinates / marketing personnel in retrieving information
from available databases.
- Analysing
/ monitoring the market and competition to support management initiatives
of setting up strategic alliances or brand acquisitions.
- Participating
actively in formulating the ‘Operating Plan’ for the division.
- Extracting
and analyzing data from secondary (audit) sources
- Primary
market research experience (customized research) done with consumers
for packaging development, concept research for communication and new
products
- Building
business scenarios basis data including forecasting for new product
launches, media expense planning, competitive profiling etc.
Qualification & Experience :
- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Science / Pharmacy. Additional qualifications in Marketing / Business Administration preferred.
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
