Job Description: Overall product management responsibility for steering the assigned brands and meeting business objectives. The goal is to ensure delivery of short term and long term business objectives which impact financial and non-financial deliverables by formulating winning marketing strategies and programs. This would involve the following: Analysing the market, competition and conducting market research to identify opportunities, threats and key issues. Delivery of sales objectives and market shares as per agreed measures. Management of direct marketing costs within agreed measures in order to maximise returns on investment. Interventions in all elements of the marketing mix- product, price, packaging, promotion and product placement strategies. - Development of communication programs- advertising, sales promotion, direct consumer contact ,detail and retail aids etc. - Developing innovative promotional programs for augmenting fieldforce detailing and retailing efforts. - Tracking, analysing and reviewing the performance of the regions against targets and working with stakeholders to resolve issues. - Leading/Participating in cross-functional teams for new product launches, upgrades etc. - Contributing towards the brand plans during development of the Operating Plan every year
